As humans, we are social beings and there is the continual need for not only human interactions but also human connections. These photographs are a personal journey of searching and finding that also translates to a more universal struggle. The landscapes and found still lives are representative of this empty feeling of being alone and missing. I feel as if I have been drawn to take these photographs almost subconsciously and It has only been until recently that I have found the words to describe it. Even though these interactions with the people are often brief, it alludes to this continual search of some sort of human connection that makes us feel less alone in the world.
